Firsts

The start of school came along with a bazillion other things beginning. The third week of school starts tomorrow and I am just now editing these photos to show-off my darling children!
Aren't they cute?:)

Two Already?

Jaynie turned two this week!  She is a dynamic little girl, full of opinions, loves, and fun.  Just this last month she started telling me the things she loves.  We were outside and she saw a bird fly away and said, "I love it!"  She requests to hug and kiss her Daddy and brothers before she goes to bed and all three of her boys just soak it up.

Adam made a beautiful baby doll cradle for her for her birthday and she loves to wrap her babies up and tuck them into bed, but doesn't so much like bedtime herself.

She is tough girl and when she does get hurt I hold her for few seconds and then she starts to wiggle down as she says, "all better" in almost the same breath as her last cry.

Christmas Spirit

It is easy to have the excitement, joy, and spirit of Christmas with my babies around!  My three children and sweet husband have made this last month wonderful.  From little people nativities to kindergarten school programs, shopping trips, candlelit scripture reading, silly elves that fish with candy cane poles, a one-year-old that looks at pictures of Jesus and says, "bay-bee," mom, dad, and sister who drive to be with us, and Adam who knows exactly what two little boys will love; this Christmas has been magical.

On Christmas Eve Eve we let the boys sleep out under the tree in sleeping bags.  First they watched the Polar Express and then fell asleep amazingly fast.
Jayne kept pressing the keys on my keyboard and therefore had to go to sleep on time! The movie would've never ended if she had stayed awake.

The present excitement was so fun with my sweet children.  They loved everything and kept my attention with the lively comments of happiness about each treasure they unwrapped.  We made an impressive mess and I don't know what I would've done without my mom cleaning up behind us all.  Someday I will be as fast and productive as she is!

We even had a chance to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air while we watched Kael and Silas drive around their remote-control tanks.

 What a beautiful Christmas!

Happy Happy Birthday Silas Dear!

Silas woke up at 5:30 soooo excited for his birthday!  I've been asking him for months to please stay three because he is such a great three year old.  But every time he responds with, "no mom... it goes 1..2...3...4!"

Silas loves camo, swords or knives (the play kind!.)  He loves to giggle and knows how to take a joke!  He gets the cutest little twinkle in his eye whenever he is teasing or telling a joke.

Love this boy!

First Snow of the Season

Early last week we had our first snow of the season and the kids loved it!  It honestly worked out perfectly:  we got to play in the snow and then by the time it was Halloween and we wanted to trick-or-treat it was all dried up and gone!

I took the boys sledding the first day of the snow and then the next day we played in the yard so that Jayne could come!  My boys love the snow! Jayne liked it until she stumbled and her face touched the icy cold stuff!
